Higashi Ward stretches across the eastern edge of Fukuoka City, mixing residential neighborhoods with commercial zones. It faces Hakata Bay and includes tourist spots like Uminonakamichi and Shikanoshima, but its adult nightlife scene is far less concentrated than Nakasu or Tenjin.

Geographically, the area is served by the JR Kashii Line and the Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line. Around Kashii and Chihaya stations, you'll find restaurants and small shops. The overall atmosphere is calm, catering more to locals than tourists.

In the adult entertainment sector, Higashi Ward primarily features delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru). The number of shops is limited, and there's no dense red-light district. Prices are relatively affordable: delivery health runs about 12,000–15,000 yen for 60 minutes, and hotel health about 15,000–20,000 yen for 60 minutes.
