Susukino

Susukino is one of Japan's largest entertainment districts, sprawling in central Sapporo. At night, neon lights flash, and restaurants and adult venues crowd the streets. It's always busy with tourists, office workers, and locals, giving off a unique energy.

The area centers on Susukino Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line, extending in all directions. Most venues are within walking distance of the station, making it easy to navigate. The main blocks run from South 4 to South 7 and West 3 to West 5, where adult businesses are concentrated.

The adult scene is comprehensive, with soaplands, delivery health, fashion health, pink salons, and SM clubs all present. Soaplands cluster around South 5 West 4, charging ¥15,000–30,000 per hour. Delivery health services cover the whole area, dispatching to hotels, with rates around ¥10,000–20,000 for 60 minutes. Fashion health shops are often in buildings near the station, offering affordable sessions (about ¥10,000 for 60 minutes). Pink salons are tucked in alleys off South 4, providing short, cheap fun (30 minutes for ¥3,000–5,000). A few SM clubs exist, with custom play options.

For foreign visitors, Susukino is relatively accessible. However, many soaplands explicitly state "Japanese only," so check ahead. Delivery health and fashion health are increasingly foreigner-friendly, sometimes with English or Chinese staff. Pink salons are mostly Japanese-only, but gestures can work.

Access: 5 minutes by subway from Sapporo Station, get off at Susukino Station. Most adult venues open from 6 PM to midnight or 2 AM. Weekends are crowded, so reservations are recommended. Street touts are illegal, but scouts may approach you—don't follow them.
