North 24th Street

North 24th Street is a local entertainment district centered around the North 24th Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line. During the day, the area is busy with shoppers at supermarkets and restaurants, but at night, the neon signs of adult shops become prominent.

Geographically, many shops are within walking distance from the station, especially concentrated in the alleys west of the station. It's about a 5-minute subway ride from Sapporo Station, making it accessible. The clientele is mostly local office workers and students rather than tourists.

The adult entertainment here is dominated by delivery health and hotel health. Delivery health sends girls to your home or hotel, with rates around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes. Hotel health uses nearby love hotels, with similar pricing. Pink salons and soaplands are rare.

There are about 20–30 shops, making it a medium-sized scene within Sapporo. Shops open and close frequently, so always check the latest info. Foreigner-friendly shops are limited; not speaking Japanese can be a barrier.

Best visited on weekdays after 8 PM. Weekends are busier but wait times are short. Convenience stores and family restaurants near the station are good for meeting up.

Note that this area is adjacent to residential zones, so be mindful of noise and manners late at night. Beware of touts and street solicitation; research shops beforehand.
