Fukuoka's night begins when the neon of Nakasu reflects on the Naka River. Steam from yatai food stalls and light spilling from snack bars in back alleys. But the real night of this city lies a bit deeper.

Nakasu is an entertainment district spread on an island in the Naka River, within walking distance from Hakata Station. Tenjin is also walkable. The area is compact, so even first-timers won't get lost.
