Iizuka

Step out of Iizuka Station and you're met with the calm air of a regional city. A few taxis wait at the rotary, and chain izakayas and family restaurants line the streets. Pedestrian traffic thins at night, but adult shops are scattered within a few minutes' walk from the station.

Iizuka City is the central city of Fukuoka's Chikuho region, once prosperous from coal mining. Today it functions as an industrial and commercial hub, drawing people from surrounding areas. The adult entertainment district spreads around both the north and south exits of Iizuka Station, with a concentration on the back streets of the north side.

Iizuka's adult industry is small-scale, centered on delivery health (deliheru) and pink salons. Deliheru services typically dispatch girls to hotels near the station, with rates around ¥12,000–15,000 for 60 minutes. Pink salons are located in multi-tenant buildings near the station, offering quick, casual sessions. There are no SM clubs or soaplands.

Most shops cater to local customers, and foreigner-friendly options are limited. You may be turned away if you don't speak Japanese, though some shops are becoming more open to foreigners. However, very few have English or Chinese-speaking staff on site.

Access is via JR Chikuho Main Line's Iizuka Station, about 50 minutes by rapid train from Hakata Station. By car, it's about 15 minutes from the Wakamiya IC on the Kyushu Expressway. Operating hours: deliheru from evening until around midnight, pink salons from early afternoon until about 10 PM.

Before visiting, it's advisable to call or check online whether the shop accepts foreigners. Also, since taxis are scarce in this regional city, plan to move before the last train. There are several business hotels near the station, and love hotels are an option if using deliheru services.
