Kurosaki/Yahata/Orio

Step out of Kurosaki Station, and the neon lights of the entertainment district hit you. A short walk from the bars and game arcades leads into the red-light area, where soapland signs line the streets.

This area sits in central Kitakyushu City, spreading around JR Kurosaki, Yahata, and Orio stations. Each station has adult venues within walking distance, with Kurosaki being the busiest.

Soaplands dominate the scene, with over a dozen clustered near the north exit of Kurosaki Station. Prices range from ¥15,000 to ¥30,000 for 60 minutes, mostly mid-range. Delivery health services are also common, operating from the hotel district. Pink salons are found in a few multi-tenant buildings near the station, offering quick and affordable fun.

Soaplands are popular among foreign tourists, but you may be refused if you don't speak Japanese. Delivery health requires a phone reservation and sends girls to hotels. Pink salons are relatively easy to enter, but English support is rare.

Visit on weekday nights to avoid crowds. The area is walkable from the stations, but taxis are convenient. Beware of touts and scouts in the red-light district—politely decline any unsolicited offers.
