At night in Hakata Ward, the neon of Nakasu reflects on the river. The smoke from food stalls mixes with light spilling from back alleys. This is Kyushu's largest entertainment district and also its red-light district.
Geographically, Nakasu is the area between the Naka River and the Hakata River. It's a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station and also walkable from Tenjin. The area is compact; step into a side street and you'll immediately find adult venues.
The adult scene in Nakasu is dominated by soaplands, ranging from high-end to budget, with prices from ¥10,000 to over ¥50,000 per hour. Delivery health is also common, allowing you to call a girl to your hotel. Pink salons offer short, cheap sessions, and there are a few SM clubs.
Foreign visitors may be turned away at some soaplands, but delivery health and pink salons are more accepting. English support is limited; basic Japanese or simple English helps.
Access is on foot or by subway from Hakata Station. Nakasu stays lively late, but most adult venues close between midnight and 2 AM. Fridays and Saturdays are busiest.
Note: Soaplands require reservations. For delivery health, you need a hotel room. Pink salons have fast turnover. Many shops are cash-only, so bring cash.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
