Hakodate is a port city in southern Hokkaido, with adult venues scattered around the Suehirocho and Horaicho entertainment districts. The scene is small, centered on delivery health and pink salons.
Hakodate's night has a different face from the tourist-packed Mount Hakodate and red-brick warehouses. Step off the main street where the tram runs, and neon signs thin out, with adult shops lighting up quietly in alleys.
Adult venues cluster around Suehirocho and Horaicho, a 5-minute tram ride from JR Hakodate Station, within walking distance of the ropeway station. But the number is small—you'll see maybe 10 shops walking the area.
The scene is dominated by delivery health and pink salons. Delivery health sends girls to your hotel, costing ¥12,000–20,000 for 60 minutes. Pink salons offer short oral services, typically ¥5,000–8,000 for 30 minutes. No soaplands or SM clubs exist.
Most shops are small, owner-operated, with few chains. Foreigner-friendly service is almost nonexistent, so non-Japanese speakers will struggle. Delivery health requires a hotel room, and love hotels are scarce in Hakodate, so book a regular hotel in advance.
Access: from Hakodate Station, take the tram to Suehirocho or Horaicho stop, then 1–2 minutes walk. Most shops open 8 PM to midnight, closed during the day. Friday and Saturday nights are busiest, but crowds are rare.
Note that prices reflect local demand, not tourist markup, but services are basic. Street touts are uncommon but may approach you. A firm "kekkou desu" (no thanks) is enough to decline.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
