Saga's prefectural seat is Saga City, whose central shopping district, around the Esplatz building, grew up along the old Nagasaki Kaido road. Takeo-Onsen and Ureshino-Onsen lie on the Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen, and Takeo-Onsen is about 25 minutes from Saga by limited express.

The Saga Prefectural Office is in Jonai, Saga City. According to the Saga City Tourism Association, the district around the Esplatz building was originally the city's central shopping street, formed along the old Nagasaki Kaido. Esplatz is about 20 minutes on foot or 5 by taxi from Saga Station.
In the west of the prefecture, the spa towns of Takeo-Onsen and Ureshino-Onsen sit on the Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen, opened on 23 September 2022. Saga Station to Takeo-Onsen is about 25 minutes by limited express, and Takeo-Onsen to Ureshino-Onsen about 6 minutes by Shinkansen.
Article 28 of the national Entertainment Business Act bans store-based adult businesses within 200 metres of government office complexes, schools, libraries, child welfare facilities and similar sites, and lets prefectures prohibit them in designated areas by ordinance. Where these businesses may operate in Saga is set by the prefecture's own ordinance.
Walk-in formats such as soaplands may operate only where the ordinance allows them. Delivery health is an outcall format used at a hotel or another place you choose, and the area on this site marks the venue's reception or base.
From Kyushu Saga International Airport, the bus takes about 35 minutes to the Saga Station Bus Center, then it is about 5 minutes on foot to JR Saga Station. The prefecture's tourism site gives about 1 hour 20 minutes from the airport to JR Hakata, not counting transfers.
For Nagasaki, change at Takeo-Onsen from the Relay Kamome limited express to the Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen Kamome across the same platform. Twenty-two trains a day run each way between Hakata and Nagasaki, taking 1 hour 20 minutes at the fastest.
