Coming from Tokyo, the Hokuriku Shinkansen stops at Kurobe-Unazukionsen, then Toyama, then Shin-Takaoka before heading on to Kanazawa. Toyama City, which shares the prefecture's name, and Takaoka City, home of Shin-Takaoka Station, are the two cities where this site has areas. The Toyama Glass Art Museum stands in central Toyama.
JNTO describes Takaoka as home to a famous temple and one of Japan's three Great Buddhas, and mentions Takaoka lacquerware, a craft with more than 400 years of history. The same JNTO page presents Takaoka as close enough to visit on a day trip from Toyama.
As a national baseline, Article 28 of the Entertainment Business Act bans storefront sex businesses within 200 metres of schools, libraries, child welfare facilities and similar sites. Prefectures may also designate prohibited areas by ordinance; check with the Toyama prefectural police for the areas Toyama's ordinance designates.
Under Article 28(3), the ban does not apply to a business that had already filed its notification and was operating when the rule took effect or began to apply. Walk-in formats such as soaplands can operate only where the ordinance allows them.
Delivery health is an outcall format used at a hotel or another place you choose, and an area on this site usually marks the venue's reception or base. How far a venue will travel differs by venue, so check the service range on its page.
On JR East's timetable the fastest Tokyo–Toyama train is Kagayaki 503 on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, at 2 hours 4 minutes. Shin-Takaoka is served by the all-stations Hakutaka; Hakutaka 561 takes 2 hours 39 minutes. Toyama Airport's website gives about 20 minutes by bus to JR Toyama Station.
From Kansai and Chukyo, change at Tsuruga from the Thunderbird or Shirasagi limited express to the Tsurugi on the Hokuriku Shinkansen. According to JR West, at the 16 March 2024 timetable the fastest trips were 2 hours 35 minutes from Osaka to Toyama, 2 hours 35 minutes from Nagoya to Toyama, and 2 hours 26 minutes from Osaka to Shin-Takaoka.
This site divides Toyama into two parts, Toyama City and Takaoka City. Toyama City has two areas, Sakuragicho / Sogawa and Toyama Station, and Takaoka City has Takamachi and Kiriwood Town. A venue appears under whichever city its premises or, for outcall services, its reception office is in.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
