Katsuura/Kamogawa/Tateyama

Katsuura, Kamogawa, and Tateyama are located on the Pacific side of the Boso Peninsula, at the southeastern tip of Chiba Prefecture. This area is known for tourism, but adult businesses are scattered here as well.

The area is spread across three cities: Katsuura, Kamogawa, and Tateyama. Shops are scattered in the city centers and along the coast, not concentrated in one spot. A car is essential for getting around.

The main adult venue types are soaplands and delivery health. Soaplands: a few in Katsuura and Tateyama, and a few in Kamogawa. Prices are slightly cheaper than central Tokyo, around 15,000–20,000 yen for 60 minutes. Delivery health: several shops in each city, mostly dispatching to hotels.

Many shops cater to tourists, and some partner with hot spring inns and hotels. The sea bathing season (July–August) is crowded, so reservations are essential.

Access: from Tokyo, about 1.5 hours by limited express to Katsuura, about 2 hours to Tateyama. By car, use the Ken-O Expressway or Tateyama Expressway. Business hours vary, but generally from early afternoon to late night.

Foreign tourists can use some shops but not all. It is recommended to check in advance by phone or email. If you don't speak Japanese, ask the hotel front desk for help.
