Kakamigahara / Ginan

The Kakamigahara / Ginan red-light district spreads across a mix of residential and industrial zones in southern Gifu Prefecture. By day it's a quiet neighborhood, but at night neon lights come on and local men make their way here.

Geographically, it's about a 30-minute drive from Nagoya, with shops scattered along main roads. Spanning Kakamigahara City and Ginan Town, the area is centered on soaplands and delivery health, with many shops concentrated along National Route 21.

In the adult industry, there are about 20 soaplands and 30 delivery health services operating. Prices are slightly below national average: soaplands around ¥10,000 for 30 minutes, delivery health around ¥15,000 for 60 minutes. Shops are small-scale, focusing on practical service rather than flashy presentation.

Additionally, a few fashion health and pink salons can be found, but soaplands and delivery health dominate. There are almost no shops catering to foreign tourists; basically Japanese language only.

Access: from Nagoya, take the Meitetsu Kakamigahara Line to Kakamigahara-shiyakusho-mae Station, then 15 minutes on foot. Or by car via National Route 21. Most shops are open from noon to midnight.

For foreign visitors, you'll likely be turned away if you don't speak Japanese. Look for delivery health services that accept reservations in Japanese, or check for soaplands that say "foreigners OK." Many shops are cash-only, so bring cash.
