Owner

Owner is the ordinary word for the person who runs the business. At an adult venue the proprietor's name is in the notification to the public safety commission but does not appear on the website or at the door; the people you deal with when booking and at reception are the manager and reception staff. You see the word in reviews that discuss how a venue is run, such as the atmosphere changing after a change of owner.

Some owners run several venues as a group, and member cards or points may be shared across sister venues. It is not a word a guest needs, beyond understanding text that explains how a venue is organised.
