Store-Based
店舗型 · tenpo-gata
Also known as: tenpo-gata
The format in which you go to the venue for the service, as at soaplands and store-based health; the counterpart of the dispatch format (delivery health), where the woman comes to you.
Store-based, tenpogata, is the adult-business format with premises you visit for the service. Soaplands and store-based health venues (hako heru) are the main examples, and a hotel health reception office counts as a store in law. Delivery health, where the woman comes to your hotel or home, is the non-store or dispatch format, the counterpart category.
Store-based venues are notified to the public safety commission, may operate only in areas set by ordinance, and may not open from midnight until sunrise. That is why they cluster in set districts of cities and are closed late at night. Their advantages are choosing a woman on the spot at reception, no hotel fee, and a fully equipped private room.
When you'll encounter this
You meet it in business-type labels on venue pages, in explanations of store-based versus dispatch formats, and in price-list notes such as "no transport fee, store-based".
