Kagawa

Kagawa's adult district lacks the flash of Tokyo or Osaka. In central Takamatsu, shops are scattered sparsely among the entertainment areas. The night is quiet, with local salarymen and a few tourists visiting discreetly.

Geographically, the main area is around Kawaramachi and Kataharamachi, within walking distance from Takamatsu Station. Most shops are on the second or third floors of mixed-use buildings, with modest signage.

Adult venue types include a handful of soaplands, over a dozen delivery health services, and a few pink salons. Soaplands range from high-end to budget, with prices from ¥10,000 to ¥30,000 for 30 minutes. Delivery health typically costs around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes, with hotel dispatch being the norm.

For foreign visitors, the language barrier is the biggest challenge. Most soaplands only serve Japanese speakers, and delivery health is similar. However, some delivery health shops may accommodate English speakers. It's best to call or email ahead.

Access: From Takamatsu Airport, take the limousine bus to Takamatsu Station (about 40 minutes). Many business hotels are near the station, and the adult area is walkable. Operating hours are generally 8 PM to midnight, though some shops stay open until early morning.

Note that most shops cater to Japanese customers. If you look obviously foreign, you may be refused. Speaking Japanese or going with a Japanese friend increases your chances. Also, many shops don't accept credit cards, so bring cash.
