Sakuragicho / Sogawa

Sakuragicho / Sogawa is the entertainment district within walking distance of Toyama Station. By day it functions as an office area, but at night neon lights come on, and restaurants and adult venues come alive.

The area is centered around two main streets, Sakuragicho and Sogawa, with small shops packed into the back alleys. It's about a 10-minute walk from Toyama Station, and buses and taxis are readily available.

In the adult industry, delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru) are the main categories. There are about 20 to 30 shops, making it a medium-sized district. Prices range from 12,000 to 18,000 yen for 60 minutes for delivery health, and 15,000 to 20,000 yen for 60 minutes for hotel health.

Most delivery health services dispatch girls to hotels, while hotel health shops are often attached to love hotels. Foreigner-friendly services are limited; many shops will refuse service if you don't speak Japanese.

For visitors, weekday nights from 8 PM to 11 PM are the best time. Weekends are crowded with locals. First-timers should check shop websites for pricing and services, and phone reservations are standard.

A key point: many shops in Toyama Prefecture have a "no foreigners" policy. If you don't speak Japanese, consider bringing an interpreter or look for shops that explicitly accept foreigners in advance.
