Shirogane lies on the western side of Minato Ward, which the ward describes as largely residential, with historic Western-style houses and plenty of greenery such as the former Shirogane Imperial estate, now the Institute for Nature Study. Shirokane-takanawa Station is nearby.
Minato Ward's booklet on the Shirokane-Takanawa shopping street features Shirokane Aer City, directly connected to Shirokane-takanawa Station on the Namboku Line and the Toei Mita Line. That station offers two lines, Tokyo Metro Namboku and Toei Mita.
Minato Ward's official site describes the Shirogane area, in the west of the ward, as having many residential streets and historic Western-style mansions, and also mentions its abundant greenery, including the former Shirogane Imperial estate (Institute for Nature Study). The ward's description centres on homes, historic buildings and green space.
In the Meguro / Shirokane / Gotanda area, which includes Shirogane, the listed venues are on the Gotanda page. If Shirogane gains a listing, it will be displayed on this page.
The touting zones the police give for Minato Ward are blocks of Akasaka, Shimbashi and Roppongi, and Shirogane is not one of them (updated 31 March 2016). Because zones are fixed by town name and chome, some parts of Minato Ward carry no designation at all.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
