When you step out of Handa Station, you see a calm townscape typical of the Chita Peninsula center. Taxis line up at the station rotary, and local business hotels and restaurants dot the area. At night, the neon is subdued, with an atmosphere prioritizing practicality over flashiness.

Geographically, the shopping street and residential areas spread north and south from Handa Station. Most adult shops are concentrated in back streets within walking distance of the station or around business hotels near the station. Access from Nagoya takes about 30 minutes on the Meitetsu line, attracting not only locals but also visitors from Nagoya.

Handa's adult scene centers on delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru). Delivery health services are often dispatched to hotels around the station, with rates around 12,000–20,000 yen for 60 minutes. Hotel health provides services at partner hotels at similar prices. There are about 20–30 shops, not densely packed, but offering sufficient choices.

Pink salons and soaplands are almost nonexistent in Handa; instead, delivery health and hotel health dominate. Services are practical and tailored to local men, lacking the flashiness of tourist areas. Many shops operate from apartments in residential areas a bit away from the station or from front desks of business hotels.

To use adult services in Handa, advance phone reservation is standard. This can be challenging for foreign tourists, but more shops now accept LINE or web reservations. If you don't speak Japanese, look for foreign staff or use delivery health portal sites.

Access is via Meitetsu Handa Station. A taxi stand is in front of the station, convenient for moving to hotels. Business hours are usually from noon to midnight, and weekends get busy, so early booking is recommended. Local etiquette: avoid waiting in front of shops or taking photos; use services quietly.
