Higashiura

Higashiura is a bedroom community spread along the line connecting Nagoya City and the Chita Peninsula. Factories and residential areas mix, and at night it becomes quiet. There is no area you could call an entertainment district; only a few chain izakaya and family restaurants near the station.

Geographically, the JR Taketoyo Line and Meitetsu Kōwa Line run through, with Higashiura Station as the center. The station area has only a rotary and a small shopping street; there are no streets with adult shops within walking distance.

As for adult venue types, only a few delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru) shops can be found. They are small, individually operated shops, with rates around 12,000–15,000 yen for 60 minutes. There are no soaplands, pink salons, or SM clubs.

The shops are scattered in residential areas or along main roads away from the station, so hopping between them on foot is not realistic. The common style is to reserve by phone or web in advance and move by car from a meeting point.

For foreign tourists, using adult services in Higashiura is challenging. Japanese language support is standard, and English-friendly shops are almost nonexistent. Also, because shops are dispersed, a taxi or rental car is necessary.

If you really want to play in this area, I recommend considering entertainment districts in Nagoya City such as Ōsu or Nishiki. Higashiura is essentially a small, locally oriented market.
