Akashi/Himeji/Kakogawa

Step out of Himeji Station and you're greeted by the calm atmosphere of a castle town. But head into the entertainment district north of the station, and neon signs reveal the adult entertainment zone.

The area centers on Himeji, spreading to Kakogawa and Akashi. The largest concentration is a few minutes' walk from Himeji Station's north exit, with smaller clusters around Kakogawa Station and Akashi Station.

The core of the adult scene is soaplands and delivery health. In Himeji, over a dozen soaplands are packed north of the station, with rates around 15,000–20,000 yen for 60 minutes. Delivery health operates across the area, often in hotel health or fashion health formats.

In Kakogawa and Akashi, soaplands are fewer; delivery health and erotic massage dominate. The density is lower than Himeji, with a more local, neighborhood feel.

Access is via JR Himeji Station, about an hour from Osaka on the Special Rapid Service, or 30 minutes from Kobe. The adult district is in the backstreets north of the station—quiet by day, lively from evening.
