Kikuchi/Otsu

The Kikuchi/Otsu area is a quiet suburban region about 30 minutes north of Kumamoto City by car. Along the main roads, restaurants and shops are scattered, giving it a peaceful daytime atmosphere, but at night some streets light up with neon signs.

Geographically, Kikuchi City and Otsu Town are adjacent, close to Kumamoto Airport. Access is primarily by car; public transport is limited to buses and taxis.

The adult entertainment scene here is smaller than in Kumamoto City, with a few soaplands, over a dozen delivery health services, and several pink salons. Prices are relatively affordable: soaplands start around ¥10,000 for 30 minutes, delivery health around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes.

Shops mainly cater to local customers, and foreigner-friendly services are limited. Few staff speak English or Chinese; Japanese-only service is common. However, some delivery health shops accept foreigners, so advance confirmation is necessary.

Visiting by car is most convenient. Parking is available at each shop, but avoid drinking and driving. Business hours vary, but peak time is from 8 PM to midnight.

For first-timers, delivery health is a good option—you can call them to your hotel without worrying about prying eyes. Soaplands often require advance reservations by phone or online. Pink salons offer quick, casual fun, but may be difficult without Japanese language skills.
