Ishinomaki

Ishinomaki's station area has a calm streetscape, still recovering from the 2011 earthquake. At night, foot traffic thins out, revealing the quiet character of this port town. Adult shops are scattered in multi-tenant buildings and alleys within walking distance of the station, with no flashy neon—just a discreet local clientele.

Geographically, shops cluster around Ishinomaki Station, along the main street and side alleys. From Sendai, it's about an hour by JR Senseki Line, or 1.5 hours by car via Tohoku Expressway and Sanriku Road. There are few large commercial facilities; instead, small restaurants and izakayas dot the area.

The adult scene consists mainly of delivery health (deriheru) and pink salons (pinsaro). Delivery health sends girls to hotels or homes, with rates around ¥12,000–16,000 for 60 minutes. Pink salons are a few shops in buildings near the station, offering quick sessions (20–30 minutes) at lower prices. Total shops are under 10, making it a very small scene.

Foreign tourists rarely visit, and English service is almost nonexistent. If you don't speak Japanese, you'll need to arrange your own hotel for delivery health. Pink salons often require ID; whether they accept foreign passports varies by shop.

Access is easiest by train to Ishinomaki Station. There are several business hotels near the station, useful as meeting points for delivery health. Operating hours: delivery health from evening to around midnight, pink salons from afternoon to late night. Weekends can be busy, but walk-ins are usually possible.

Keep in mind that Ishinomaki's adult area is not a tourist spot—it's a practical, locally oriented zone. Don't expect flashy shows or high-end services; it's a straightforward place to get the job done. Many shops have been operating since before the disaster, giving the area a rooted, resilient feel.
