Niigata Station is a transportation hub where JR lines and Shinkansen meet. From the station, you can access each area by bus or taxi. Shibata Station is about 30 minutes from Niigata Station by local train. Both are compact towns you can explore on foot.

Near Shibata Station, there are 2-3 soaplands and a few delivery health shops. Price ranges are slightly cheaper than big cities: soapland from ¥10,000 for 30 minutes, delivery health from ¥10,000 for 60 minutes, pink salon from ¥5,000 for 30 minutes.

Shops are scattered within walking distance from the stations, with modest signage and no aggressive touts. Regular local customers are the norm, with no flashy tourist-oriented shows. Shibata's soaplands are old-fashioned and often require reservations.

For foreign visitors, delivery health around Niigata Station is convenient. You can call them to your hotel, which helps if you're worried about language barriers. However, English support is limited, so check in advance if you don't speak Japanese.

Business hours vary by shop, but soaplands typically operate from noon to midnight, and delivery health from evening to around 2 AM. Shops in Shibata tend to close earlier. Cash is standard; many shops don't accept credit cards.
