Hatogaya

At night in Hatogaya, neon signs flicker quietly among the residential streets. Past the station rotary and into narrow alleys, soapland signs line up. There's a modest bustle of local regulars and salarymen arriving by train.

Hatogaya is served by the Saitama Rapid Railway Line's Hatogaya Station, about 30 minutes from Tokyo. Most shops are within a 5-minute walk from the station. The area is compact and easy to navigate.

The adult scene here is almost entirely soaplands. About 20 shops cluster together, with rates from ¥12,000 to ¥20,000 for 60 minutes — noticeably cheaper than Tokyo. Shops are small, rooms are simple, but it's popular for cost-conscious visitors. Delivery health and pink salons are rare.

Some shops may accept foreign customers, but Japanese language is generally required. Check by phone or website in advance. Many shops are cash-only, so bring cash.

Weekday nights are best; weekends get crowded with locals. There are convenience stores and restaurants near the station for waiting time.

Note that Hatogaya's soaplands are mostly budget-oriented with simple services. If you're looking for luxury or a special experience, consider other areas.
