Warabi

Exit the north gate of Warabi Station, and you're in an ordinary residential area. But walk a bit along the main street, and signs for soaplands start appearing. By day it's quiet, but at night neon lights up and the atmosphere shifts.

The soapland district is compact, within a 5-minute walk from the station, mainly along the north side streets. It's about 30 minutes by train from Tokyo, making it one of Saitama's major soapland concentrations.

Soaplands dominate here; other adult venues are rare. Over 50 shops range from budget short courses (around ¥10,000–15,000) to high-end long courses (¥50,000+). Most are within walking distance of the station.

Many budget-friendly shops are beginner-friendly, even for foreigners. However, most are Japanese-only, and English support is limited. Some shops refuse foreigners, so check ahead.

Visit on weekday evenings to avoid crowds. Weekends can be busy with wait times. The station area has plenty of restaurants to kill time. Warabi is on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line from Tokyo, or via the Saikyo Line from Ikebukuro.

Soaplands are generally reservation-based. Walk-ins are possible at some shops, but calling or booking online is safer. Most are cash-only, so bring enough yen.
