Akita City is the prefectural capital, about 3 hours 50 minutes from Tokyo on the Akita Shinkansen. The city's tourism site groups its bars and izakaya under Omachi and Kawabata, and this site treats Akita City as a single area.

The Akita Prefectural Government is at Sanno 4-chome in Akita City. The tourism site run by the city and the Akita Convention & Visitors Bureau has an Omachi and Kawabata section in its restaurant guide, listing izakaya and bars. JNTO introduces Akita as a capital known for snow, hot springs and good sake.
Article 28 of the national Entertainment Business Act bans storefront adult businesses within 200 metres of schools, libraries, child welfare facilities and similar sites, and lets each prefecture ban them in further areas by ordinance. For the areas Akita's own ordinance designates, check the text in the prefecture's official collection of ordinances.
Walk-in formats such as soaplands can operate only where the ordinance allows them. Delivery health is an outcall format used at a hotel or another place you choose; on this site the area marks the venue's reception or base, and the service range differs by venue.
The Akita Shinkansen takes about 3 hours 50 minutes from Tokyo to Akita. Flights from Haneda take about 1 hour 5 minutes to Akita Airport and about 1 hour 20 minutes to Odate-Noshiro Airport. Akita Airport also has flights of about an hour from New Chitose and about 1 hour 20 minutes from Osaka Itami.
This site gives Akita one division, Akita City, which holds a single area of the same name. Odate, near Odate-Noshiro Airport, and the prefecture's other cities have not yet been made into areas.
