Hikone City and its surroundings

Hikone City is located in the eastern part of Shiga Prefecture, a historic town centered around Hikone Castle. Apart from the bustling tourist atmosphere of the castle town, the night streets have locally-oriented adult venues scattered around.

The area mainly spreads around Hikone Station and the back streets of the shopping arcade leading from Hikone Castle. In front of the station, business hotels and restaurants line the streets, with adult venues within walking distance.

The scale is not large, but they operate to meet local demand. For foreign visitors, many shops have limited Japanese language support, so prior confirmation is necessary. Soaplands generally require reservations, and walk-ins may be difficult. Delivery health can dispatch to hotels, but be aware that some hotels prohibit the use of adult services.

Access is convenient via JR Hikone Station, about an hour from Osaka or Kyoto on the Special Rapid Service. Business hours vary by shop, but many close by 10 PM, with limited late-night operations. If you plan to visit as a side trip, it's recommended to make a reservation by phone or online in advance.
