Ohi/Kamata

The Ohi/Kamata area is an adult entertainment district straddling Shinagawa and Ota wards in southern Tokyo. The station fronts look like ordinary shopping streets with chain restaurants and izakayas, but once you step into the side alleys, soapland and delivery health signs become prominent.

Geographically, the area centers on Oimachi Station and Kamata Station. Both are accessible via the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line, and close to Haneda Airport, attracting business travelers and tourists. The district is spread out, with shops scattered around the stations.

The core of the adult scene is soaplands and delivery health. Soaplands number a few on the Oimachi side and over a dozen on the Kamata side, with prices starting from around ¥20,000 per hour. Delivery health services are abundant around both stations, mainly dispatching to hotels, with rates from ¥10,000 for 60 minutes. There are also a few pink salons and erotic massage shops, but not many.

Overall, this area is smaller in scale compared to other Tokyo adult districts like Yoshiwara or Ikebukuro, and feels more local than tourist-oriented. Shops are modest, with less flashy neon, and the atmosphere is practical.

Access is good: Oimachi Station serves JR and the Rinkai Line, while Kamata Station serves JR, Tokyu Tamagawa Line, and Ikegami Line. Operating hours vary, but soaplands typically run from midday to late night, and delivery health from evening to late night.

For foreign visitors, many shops have limited English or Japanese-only service, so advance confirmation is recommended. Soaplands often require Japanese conversation for entry, while delivery health may require you to arrange a hotel. Prices are clear, but watch out for optional fees.
