Roppongi Area

Roppongi at night is wrapped in a unique atmosphere where neon lights and foreign languages mix. Taxis stop constantly at the intersection, and music from clubs and bars echoes through the streets. It's one of Tokyo's most international areas.

Centered around Roppongi Station, Roppongi-dori and Gaien-higashi-dori intersect. Behind high-rise complexes like Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown, old drinking alleys and multi-tenant buildings are packed. Adult venues are scattered mainly in these backstreets and upper floors.

Roppongi's adult scene is dominated by delivery health and hotel health. Delivery health sends girls to hotels or homes, with rates around ¥15,000–25,000 for 60 minutes. Hotel health uses love hotels, similar pricing. Pink salons are short-time, low-cost, about ¥5,000 for 30 minutes. SM clubs vary by play but average ¥20,000–50,000. Many shops accept foreigners.

The area has over 100 shops, concentrated around Roppongi Crossing and along Roppongi-dori. Delivery health often dispatches outside the area. Pink salons are in a few buildings near the station. SM clubs include some long-established ones.

Access: Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line / Toei Oedo Line Roppongi Station. Operating hours vary: delivery health and hotel health until 2 AM, pink salons until midnight. Foreign visitors should research shops that accept non-Japanese speakers beforehand; some have English menus.

Watch out for touts near the station and intersection. Following them risks inflated charges. Always choose a shop yourself and enter directly. Delivery health can be used without hotel front desk involvement, but some love hotels prohibit it.
