The Tottori prefectural office stands in Higashimachi, Tottori City. In its summary of the amended anti-gang ordinance, the prefectural police designate the area around Yayoi-cho in Tottori, the area around Asahi-machi in Yonago and part of Kaike Onsen 3-chome, described as part of the downtowns of Tottori and Yonago, as special anti-gang zones from 1 August 2022.
Article 28(1) of the Entertainment Business Act bans storefront sex businesses within 200 metres of government office complexes, schools, libraries, child welfare facilities and any facility a prefectural ordinance adds. Article 28(2) lets a prefecture ban them in further areas it designates by ordinance.
Where venues may operate in Tottori is set by the prefecture's own ordinance; check the specific areas with the Tottori Prefectural Police. Walk-in formats such as soaplands may operate only where the ordinance allows them; delivery health is an outcall format used at a hotel or another place you choose.
According to Tottori City's tourism guide, ANA flies from Haneda to Tottori Sand Dunes Conan Airport in about 1 hour 15 minutes, and the airport bus reaches Tottori Station in about 20 minutes. By rail, the Nozomi takes about 3 hours from Tokyo to Himeji, and the Limited Express Super Hakuto about 1 hour 35 minutes from Himeji to Tottori.
For Yonago, ANA flies from Tokyo to Yonago Airport in about 80 minutes, and the bus from Yonago Kitaro Airport to Yonago Station takes about 25 minutes. Buses from the same airport also reach JR Matsue Station in neighbouring Shimane in about 45 minutes. The airport notes that bus times may change without notice.
