Aomori City

Aomori City is the terminus of the Tohoku Shinkansen and the political and economic center of Aomori Prefecture. Hotels and restaurants cluster around the station, but there is no red-light district as such.

Geographically, the city center spreads out from Aomori Station, with the main entertainment areas around Shinmachi-dori and Furukawa. At night, izakayas and snack bars operate, but adult venues are scattered.

Aomori's adult industry is very small. The main category is delivery health (deliheru), with a few shops operating. Soaplands and fashion health are virtually nonexistent. Prices range from ¥12,000 to ¥15,000 for 60 minutes.

Delivery health sends girls to hotels or private residences in Aomori City. There are almost no storefront venues, and reservations are required. Services for foreign tourists are limited, and Japanese language ability is often necessary.

Access is easiest from hotels within walking distance of Aomori Station. Business hours are typically 8 PM to midnight, with few daytime options. Advance booking by phone or web is essential.

For foreign visitors, using adult services in Aomori City is challenging. If you don't speak Japanese, very few shops can accommodate you. Also, many shops don't accept credit cards, so bring cash.
