Ninety-Nine Mile Beach Central Section

Stepping into the central section of Ninety-Nine Mile Beach, you're greeted by a tranquil coastline with the scent of the sea and the sound of waves. Tourists are few; locals—surfers and fishermen—dominate the scene. By night, the coastal road falls silent, with only sparse signs lit up.

This area sits in the middle of the long sandy stretch of Ninety-Nine Mile Beach. The nearest stations are JR Sotobo Line's Oami Station and Mobara Station, from where you take a bus or taxi toward the coast. Without a car, getting around is inconvenient, so most visitors rent one.

The adult entertainment scene here is dominated by delivery health (delihe) and hotel health (hoteheru). There are almost no storefront-type shops; outcall services are the norm. Prices are slightly cheaper than in central Tokyo, starting around ¥10,000 for 60 minutes. Most sessions take place at nearby love hotels or minshuku guesthouses.

The number of shops is small—about a dozen scattered along the coast. Many cater to tourists, and some can handle customers with limited Japanese. However, advance phone reservations are almost always required; walk-ins are rare.

Access is primarily by car. From Tokyo, it's about 1.5 hours via the Higashi-Kanto Expressway. By train, take the JR Sotobo Line to Oami Station, then a 15-minute taxi ride. Bus services are infrequent, so plan with extra time.

Weekday daytime is the best time to visit. Weekends get crowded with local customers. Making a reservation in Japanese is smoothest, but more shops are accommodating English speakers. Booking accommodation along the coast in advance saves you travel hassle.
