Asakura Kaidō

Asakura Kaidō is an entertainment district in Chikushino City, south of Fukuoka City. Along National Route 3, soaplands and delivery health shops are densely packed, frequented by local regulars and visitors from Fukuoka City.

The area stretches lengthwise along the national highway, with shops scattered on both sides. The nearest station is Nishitetsu Asakura Kaidō Station, with many shops within walking distance. Car access is also convenient, and many shops have parking lots.

The main attraction here is soaplands, with about 20 shops operating. Prices range from 15,000 to 30,000 yen for 60 minutes, covering both high-end and budget options. There are also a few delivery health shops that dispatch to hotels.

Soaplands have private rooms with showers and beds. Delivery health typically requires meeting at a hotel, so you need to book a hotel in advance. Acceptance of foreign customers varies by shop, so prior confirmation is recommended.

Most shops are open from noon to midnight, but some open early morning or operate 24 hours. To avoid crowds, weekday afternoons are best. Weekends tend to be busy with local customers.

For foreign visitors, if you don't speak Japanese, check in advance by phone or email. Some shops may have English-speaking staff. Also, since many shops are cash-only, bring enough cash.
