Yumoto

Yumoto is a hot spring town known as Iwaki Yumoto Onsen. The main street from the station is lined with inns and souvenir shops, bustling with tourists during the day. At night, the area quiets down and the neon signs of adult shops become more visible.

The area centers around JR Yumoto Station, with shops scattered along the station front street and the hot spring street. Most shops are within a 5-minute walk from the station. Because it's a hot spring town, it's convenient for overnight guests to use at night.

The adult entertainment scene here is mainly soaplands and delivery health. There are 3–4 soaplands on the station front street and a few delivery health shops on the hot spring street. Prices are standard for a regional city: soaplands start at ¥10,000 for 30 minutes, delivery health at ¥15,000 for 60 minutes. The number of shops is small, so options are limited.

Soaplands are relatively affordable and cater mostly to local customers. Delivery health services primarily dispatch to hotels, and are also used by tourists staying at hot spring inns. Foreigner-friendly services are limited; it can be difficult without Japanese language skills.

Access: get off at JR Joban Line Yumoto Station. From Tokyo, it's about 2.5 hours by limited express. Business hours: soaplands typically noon–midnight, delivery health from evening until around 2 AM.

When visiting, enjoy the hot spring town atmosphere, but it's recommended to call ahead to confirm. Foreign visitors especially need to find shops that can handle Japanese. Many shops are cash-only, so bring cash.
