Fukushima City is the prefectural capital, with the city tourist information centre at the west exit of Fukushima Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen. Article 5(3) of the prefecture's entertainment business ordinance lists where hostess-type venues may open after midnight: parts of Sakaemachi, Omachi and Jinbacho in Fukushima City, Ekimae 1 and 2-chome in Koriyama, and Tamachi and Shiroganemachi in Taira, Iwaki, among others.
Article 28 of the national Entertainment Business Act bans shop-type sex businesses within 200 metres of schools, libraries, child welfare facilities and similar sites, and lets prefectures widen it. Article 11(1) of Fukushima's ordinance also makes the 200 metres around hospitals, social welfare facilities, block parks, vocational schools, community halls and museums off-limits.
Article 11(2)(i) bans soapland-type businesses (Act Art. 2(6)(i)) throughout Fukushima Prefecture. Item (iii) bans shop-type fashion health (Art. 2(6)(ii)) in the areas of the appended table, which lists every city and county in the prefecture, leaving out only part of a national forest in Matsukawa, Fukushima City. Under Article 14-3, reception offices for outcall businesses are banned in the same areas.
Walk-in formats such as soaplands can only operate where an ordinance allows them. Delivery health is an outcall format used at a hotel or another place you choose; on this site the area usually marks where the business is based, and the service range differs by venue.
According to the prefecture's tourism site, the Tohoku Shinkansen takes about 1 hour 30 minutes from Tokyo Station to Fukushima and about 1 hour 25 minutes to Koriyama. Iwaki is about 2 hours 30 minutes from Tokyo Station on the JR Limited Express Hitachi. From Sendai, Fukushima is about 25 minutes and Koriyama about 40 minutes by Shinkansen, and Fukushima Airport has direct flights from New Chitose and Itami.
This site splits Fukushima Prefecture into four: Fukushima City, Koriyama, Iwaki and Sukagawa. Fukushima City has Fukushima Station Front; Koriyama has Koriyama Station Front, Asahi and Otsuki; Iwaki has Iwaki Station Front · Taira, Yumoto, Onahama and Izumi, and Nakoso / Ueda; Sukagawa is a single area.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
