Asahi is the entertainment district spreading along Route 4, a five-minute walk from Koriyama Station's west exit. At night, neon lights illuminate the area, creating a unique atmosphere where restaurants and adult venues mix. It's busy with local office workers and tourists, especially on weekends.

The area is compact, with shops also tucked into alleys off the main street. It's close to hotels near the station, making access very convenient. There are many parking lots around, but be careful not to drink and drive.

The adult scene in Asahi is centered on soaplands. About ten shops are clustered here, with prices ranging from ¥15,000 to ¥30,000 for 60 minutes. Options vary from high-end to budget-friendly. There are also a few delivery health services, popular for their convenience of calling to your hotel. Pink salons and erotic massage are almost nonexistent.

Most shops operate from 8 PM to around midnight, with Saturdays being the busiest. For foreign visitors, it's safer to choose a shop where Japanese is understood or call ahead to confirm. Some soaplands have English-speaking staff.

Access: a five-minute walk from Koriyama Station west exit. By car, it's about 10 minutes from the Koriyama IC on the Tohoku Expressway. Paid coin parking is available. Taxis are easy to find at night.

If visiting for the first time, get a map from the information center near the station. You must be 18 or older to use adult services, and ID is required. Many soaplands operate on a reservation-only basis, so book by phone or online in advance. For delivery health, it's common to call after checking into your hotel.
