Flagship Companion
看板娘 · kanban-musume
Also known as: kanban-musume
The woman a venue puts forward as its face, on the top of its website and in its adverts; nominations concentrate on her.
Kanban musume literally means the signboard girl. Originally the girl who stood at a shopfront to draw customers, at an adult venue it means the woman the venue presents as its representative: on the website's top page, in adverts, and in the prominent spots of the photo diaries. She is usually a popular companion with many nominations and a fixture near the top of the ranking.
Her bookings fill quickly, so a first-visit or same-day nomination can be hard to get. Check her shift information and book early, or ask the venue to suggest a woman of a similar type.
When you'll encounter this
You meet it in "our flagship companion" introductions on venue websites and adverts, and in reviews.
