Free Companion

Free Companion refers to a system where no nomination fee is charged. When a customer nominates a specific cast member, a nomination fee (typically ¥3,000–¥10,000) is added to the bill. With the free system, this fee is waived.

This arrangement is popular among first-time visitors or those who want a casual experience without committing to a particular cast member. The standard practice is for the establishment to introduce available cast members in turn, and switching cast members is often relatively easy.

However, drink charges and service fees still apply. During busy periods or at venues with highly sought-after cast members, free customers may experience longer wait times. Compared to nomination, the relationship with the cast tends to be more superficial, but it is ideal for gauging compatibility on a first visit.

Pricing varies by venue, but the absence of a nomination fee can make the total cost more manageable. That said, some establishments prioritize nominated guests, which may result in differences in service quality. It is advisable to confirm the rules beforehand.
