The procedure varies by shop, but generally involves checking the desired cast member's schedule, selecting a date, time, and course, and confirming the reservation. Upon completion, a confirmation email or message is often sent, which you present upon arrival.

An additional fee may apply for online nomination, depending on the cast member. The nomination fee may be included in the service charge or billed separately, so it is advisable to confirm at the time of booking.

Cancellation policies also differ by shop. Some offer a free cancellation period, while others charge a fee for last-minute cancellations. Be sure to review the terms when making a reservation.
