Panel Photo
パネル · paneru
Also known as: paneru
The board of photos of the women on shift shown at reception of a store-based venue; choosing from it is a panel (photo) nomination.
The panel is the display of photos of the women working that day, kept at reception of a soapland, store-based health venue or pink salon. You choose a woman from it, which is called a panel nomination or photo nomination. Women on standby who can be seen straight away are sometimes marked as immediately available.
The gap between the panel photo and the real impression is known in trade slang as panel magic, so assume the photos are retouched. Think of the cast list on a venue's website as the reception panel put online. Reception will ask whether you want to choose from the panel or go free.
When you'll encounter this
You meet it when reception at a store-based venue invites you to look at the panel, and as the panel nomination line on a price list.
