Amami City

Amami City is the central city of Amami Oshima, a remote island about 380 km south of mainland Kagoshima in the Pacific Ocean. With a population of around 40,000, this city is known as a resort destination with subtropical nature and unique culture. Tourists visit for beautiful beaches, mangrove forests, traditional island songs, and local cuisine, but the nightlife entertainment district is limited.

The city center is the Naze area, where shopping streets and restaurants gather. However, there is no large-scale red-light district or entertainment zone.
