Ebina and Atsugi are major cities in central Kanagawa Prefecture, bedroom communities spreading along the Sagami River. By day they're busy with shopping malls and business districts, but at night they reveal their adult entertainment side.
The area centers on Ebina Station and Atsugi Station (Hon-Atsugi). Ebina Station has undergone redevelopment, while Atsugi Station retains an old-school drinking and adult venue district. The two stations are about 5 minutes apart by train or a 30-minute walk.
The adult scene is concentrated in the entertainment district north of Atsugi Station. You'll find a few soaplands, over 20 delivery health and fashion health shops combined, and about 10 pink salons. Prices are lower than central Tokyo: soaplands around ¥10,000 for 30 minutes, delivery health/fashion health ¥10,000–15,000 for 60 minutes, pink salons ¥5,000–7,000 for 30 minutes.
Ebina Station has a handful of delivery health and fashion health shops, but not as dense as Atsugi. Most shops cater to locals, with few flashy tourist-oriented places.
Access is easy via Odakyu Line and Sotetsu Line. From Shinjuku, take a limited express to Ebina (about 50 minutes) or Atsugi (about 60 minutes). Many customers drive, and some shops have parking.
Foreigner acceptance varies by shop, so check in advance. Not speaking Japanese may get you turned away. Pink salons are relatively easy to enter, but soaplands often require reservations.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
