Yugawara/Manazuru

Yugawara and Manazuru are quiet hot spring towns, less crowded than Hakone. The area around the station and the hot spring district has old-fashioned inns and restaurants, and the streets get quiet early.

A few adult venues are scattered around the hot spring area a short bus ride from Yugawara Station and near Manazuru Station. The number of shops is small, and operating hours are limited due to the area's tourist character.

The adult scene here is centered on soapland. A handful of shops have baths typical of hot spring towns, with prices around ¥20,000 for 60 minutes, slightly cheaper than in the city. There are also a few delivery health and pink salon shops, but options are limited.

Foreign visitors rarely visit directly, and Japanese language support is standard. Reservations are mainly by phone, and few shops accept online bookings.

Access from Tokyo takes about 1.5 hours via JR Tokaido Line to Yugawara Station, then bus or taxi to the hot spring area. Most shops operate until 10 PM, with almost no late-night business.

A realistic approach is to visit as part of a hot spring trip. Coming solely for adult entertainment is not practical due to the small number of shops. Enjoying the hot springs alongside is the right way to experience this area.
