Nishitachi is an entertainment district in Miyazaki City. The Miyazaki City Tourist Association describes it as the largest entertainment district in the city, a place to enjoy Miyazaki's food and drink.
The tourist association puts Nishitachi a 13-minute walk from Miyazaki Station. For visitors coming from Kagoshima, it gives about 2 hours by train from Kagoshima-Chuo to Miyazaki.
On its English page the tourist association presents Nishitachi as an entertainment district for tasting Miyazaki's cooking and alcohol, and states that it is the biggest such district in the city.

Miyazaki City's ordinance banning touting was drawn up after a local group petitioned the city assembly in September 2020, and it came fully into force in January 2022. The city's commentary on the ordinance names, among its aims, strengthening the reputation of Nishitachi, which it calls the prefecture's foremost entertainment district. Touting is banned in the zones the mayor announces by public notice, and anyone ignoring an order may be fined (a non-criminal karyo).
