The Miyazaki City Tourism Association presents Nishitachi, in the city centre, as the largest entertainment district in the city for Miyazaki food and drink. It is about 13 minutes on foot from Miyazaki Station, with lanterns lining both sides of the street and places serving local chicken, Miyazaki beef and shochu.
Article 28 of the Entertainment Business Act bans storefront sex-related businesses within 200 metres of schools, libraries, child welfare facilities and other facilities a prefecture names by ordinance. Prefectures may also ban them in areas they designate, so where they may operate in Miyazaki is set by the prefectural ordinance.
Walk-in formats such as soaplands can operate only where the ordinance allows them. Delivery health is an outcall format used at a hotel or another place you choose; for outcall venues the area usually marks the reception or base, and the range they cover differs by venue.
According to the Miyazaki City Tourism Association, Miyazaki Airport is about 90 minutes from Haneda, 60 from Itami, 70 from Chubu and 45 from Fukuoka. The airport has its own JR station, and trains run towards Miyazaki on the JR Miyazaki Airport Line, which links the airport with Tayoshi.
Overland, Miyazaki Station is about 2 hours by train from Kagoshima-Chuo about 3 hours from Oita and about 3 hours 30 minutes from Beppu. From Hakata in Fukuoka, the association gives about 3 hours combining the Shinkansen and a highway bus.
This site splits Miyazaki into three major areas: Miyazaki City, Miyakonojo City and Nobeoka City. Miyazaki City has Nishitachi, Miyakonojo City has Muta Town and Nobeoka City has Funakura Town, and venues are listed on each area's page.
It depends on the venue. Each venue page lists the languages it handles, and the “English OK” filter in search narrows results to venues with English support.
Payment methods vary by venue. Check the listing and confirm with the venue before booking.
