Around JR Nara Station

When you exit JR Nara Station, you'll see deer statues and a tourist information center. The station front has a well-organized bus terminal and taxi stand, bustling all day with tourists heading to Nara Park and Todaiji Temple.

The area around the station is compact, with restaurants and souvenir shops densely packed within walking distance. At night, foot traffic decreases but doesn't become completely quiet. There are some hotels near the station, but love hotels are scarce.

The adult entertainment industry in this area is extremely small. There are a few delivery health (deriheru) shops and a few hotel health (hoteheru) shops. There are no soaplands, fashion health, pink salons, SM clubs, dating clubs, or erotic massage parlors.

Prices for delivery health and hotel health range from ¥10,000 to ¥20,000 per 60 minutes. Since there are no storefront facilities, outcall services are the norm. Foreigner-friendly services are almost nonexistent.

If you want to use adult services in Nara, it's more practical to go to Osaka or Kyoto. From JR Nara Station, it's about 50 minutes by rapid train to Osaka Station and about 45 minutes to Kyoto Station.

This area is enjoyable for sightseeing, but not worth visiting for adult entertainment. If you must use services, you'll need to book in advance via delivery health or hotel health websites and communicate in Japanese.
