Kawagoe, Hon-Kawagoe

Centered around Kawagoe Station and Hon-Kawagoe Station, this area is famous for its warehouse-style streetscapes bustling with tourists. By day, it's filled with people enjoying the Little Edo atmosphere, but at night, the mood becomes quieter.

Geographically, the main entertainment district stretches from the east exit of Kawagoe Station to Hon-Kawagoe Station, lined with restaurants and izakayas. Adult shops are scattered in residential areas and back alleys a bit away from the station, with few flashy signs and mostly modest exteriors.

The adult scene in Kawagoe and Hon-Kawagoe is small-scale, centered on delivery health (deliheru) and hotel health (hoteheru). Delivery health shops send staff to your location within Kawagoe City and surrounding areas, with rates around 12,000–20,000 yen for 60 minutes. Hotel health operates in partner hotels at similar prices. There are no soaplands or pink salons here.

With fewer than 10 shops, options are limited. Shops that accept foreign customers are even rarer, so advance confirmation is essential. If you don't speak Japanese, many shops will refuse service.

Access is convenient: about 30 minutes from Ikebukuro on the Tobu Tojo Line, or 50 minutes from Shinjuku on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. For adult services, aim for after 8 PM; weekends can be busy.

Note that Kawagoe is a tourist destination, so be mindful of daytime crowds. When using delivery health, you may need to arrange a hotel yourself. Foreign visitors should understand that options are far more limited compared to Tokyo's nightlife districts.
