Kumagaya · Fukaya

Step out of the north exit of Kumagaya Station, and you're greeted by the everyday scenery of a regional city. But walk a bit, and signs for "soapland" and "delivery health" come into view. This is the adult entertainment hub of northern Saitama, quietly visited by local salarymen and travelers.

The area splits mainly around Kumagaya Station and Fukaya Station. In Kumagaya, soaplands cluster in the entertainment district north of the station. In Fukaya, delivery health and hotel health shops dot the roadside along the national highway. Overall, the number of shops isn't large, but each is supported by solid local demand.

Soaplands are the main draw. Kumagaya has about ten soaplands, with prices ranging from ¥15,000 to ¥20,000 for 60 minutes—quite reasonable. A few delivery health and hotel health shops exist, and fashion health and pink salons are scattered near the stations. SM clubs and erotic massage are almost nonexistent.

Fukaya is even smaller, with only a handful of soaplands. Delivery health dominates, and prices are slightly cheaper than Kumagaya. Overall, there's no touristy glitz—just a practical adult playground.

Access: about 1 hour from Tokyo on the JR Takasaki Line to Kumagaya. Shops are walkable from the station. Fukaya is another 10 minutes by train. Most shops operate from noon to midnight. Foreign visitors may face language barriers, so check ahead.

This is a local-oriented area with few neon lights or touts. Best for those who want a quiet experience. Many shops are cash-only, so bring cash.
