Kichijoji, in Musashino City, is known for Harmonica Yokocho north of the station and two covered shopping arcades. The JR Chuo and Sobu lines and the Keio-Inokashira Line meet at Kichijoji Station.
GO TOKYO says the JR Sobu and Chuo lines run to Kichijoji Station, as does the Keio-Inokashira Line. In other words, the guide gives two JR lines and the Keio-Inokashira Line as the ways in, all arriving at the same station.
A Musashino City text explains that Harmonica Yokocho, north of Kichijoji Station, began as a black market after the Second World War. GO TOKYO calls Kichijoji a district of birdsong, boats and bars close to the station, describes Harmonica Yokocho as a cluster of alleys with bars and eateries that fill up in the evening, and names Sun Road and Diamond-gai as its two arcades.

In Musashino City, Kichijoji-honcho 1-chome and Kichijoji-minamicho 1-chome and 2-chome are the designated touting zones the police point to. Under the ordinance text the police post (amended in Heisei 28), reception-office businesses, store-type telephone dating businesses and others cannot open between 0:00 and 6:00.
