Exit the north exit of Machida Station and neon signs hit your eyes. Behind the station rotary, narrow alleys spread like a web, lined with signs for soaplands and delivery health. This area, bustling with local office workers and students, has a gritty energy different from central Tokyo.

Geographically, Machida Station is a transport hub where the Odakyu Line and JR Yokohama Line cross. The area around the station is packed with commercial facilities, crowded with shoppers during the day, but at night it reveals its adult entertainment face. The main strip is the back alleys on the north side, with some shops also scattered on the south side.

The variety of adult services is wide. Soaplands are concentrated within a 5-minute walk from the station, with over 10 shops, starting at around ¥20,000 per hour. For foreign visitors: the adult district is relatively safe, but you may be approached by scouts or touts. Decline firmly if not interested. Also, soaplands may ask for ID at entry, so bring your passport.
